Septic Tank Pumping Services in Ventura County

Routine septic system pumping is the key to maintaining a healthy septic system. There is no way to avoid sludge build up, but regular servicing helps keep it at a manageable level. Your septic system must be cleaned properly on a regular basis to ensure that your system remains at a healthy liquid balance. Regular servicing will help to identify potential problems that could be lurking under the surface. Our Septic tank pumping technicians are trained to spot warning signs the homeowner would not see. Our fleet ranges from smaller pump trucks to big 6300 gallon tractor/truck combos. We can handle small and big jobs depending on your needs and schedule.

We believe that maintaining your septic system can be very simple if you follow our maintenance program:

1. Regular Septic Pumping Service in Ventura County, Oxnard & Ojai CA
Several factors should be considered when deciding how often your septic tank needs to be serviced. You must take into account the age of the system, the number of occupants in your home, the use of a garbage disposal and the amount of laundry being done in the home. Every system is different. What is right for your system may not be right for your neighbor's. Speak with your Septic pumping technician or call us to discuss the appropriate frequency of service for you.

2. Bacterial Additive Products
Bacteria must be present in the septic tank in order to break down and digest the organic solids. Today, households use a wide range of antibacterial soaps, detergents and cleaning fluids. While these ordinary household products do a great job killing unwanted bacteria in your home, they also destroy beneficial bacteria that your system needs in order to function properly.

Septic System Installations

Advanced Sanitation will help you navigate the process of installing a new septic system or replace an existing one. We work with registered geological engineers that perform your soil and percolation testing and design the septic system. We provide estimates upon those recommendations and install your new septic system.

Seepage Pit Drilling & Leach Fields

Advanced Sanitation installs new seepage pits. Depending on the location of your new pit we choose the right equipment for the job: Lo-Drill for areas with power lines, tracked excavator for hillside drilling, truck mounted drill for front yards, etc.

We install new leach fields, as well. Leach lines generally need large areas of flat land for these types of drain fields.

System Location & Camera Video Inspection

Septic Tank lid location

Our Ventura county Septic pumping expert technicians can locate the septic tank and line. In a rare situation, excavation for your septic tank lid requires heavy equipment and special care to protect your home and site.

Sometimes it is necessary to locate the septic tank lids electronically, after exhausting all other methods to locate the tank lids manually. If we cannot find it by probing the ground of general location of the septic tank or try to locate the map online, the use of an electronic locator is needed.

Advanced Sanitation uses the camera system Ridgid SeeSnake to inspect your septic system health. Cameras have become one of the most valuable tools in the plumbing business. Specially made waterproof cameras allow for a visual inspection of sewer lines and other pipes that are underground, in cement and under your home’s foundation. Our professionally-trained and skilled technician inserts a flexible rod with a high-resolution video camera on its tip into pipes from 2 inches to 12 inches in diameter. The flexible rod allows the camera to travel through the pipe -even around corners- to see the pipe in its entirety. Real-time video image transmission allows the technician to determine the condition of the inside of the pipe and understand any existing or potential problems. The images can be saved for a permanent record.

No Guesswork

Radio transmitters on the camera record the depth and physical location from the surface of any defect or obstructions so that your technician can accurately diagnose and solve any drain line concerns. There is no guesswork, so your problems will be resolved quickly and cost effectively.

Identify Problems

A video camera line inspection pipe will identify all types of problems, such as root intrusion and pipe that is misaligned, broken, punctured, off-grade or corroded. The camera also identifies grease buildup, leaks and obstructions. The inspection can be repeated after any service is performed to verify that the line has been properly cleaned or repaired.

A video camera inspection is recommended if you experience repeated drain line backups, slow drains or clogs. Additionally, a video camera inspection before you purchase a home will help ensure that sewer lines are free of problems that can cause headaches and expensive repairs after you move in.

Video cameras have also been used to locate lost jewelry and other valuables, as well as animals that have become lost or trapped in pipes.

Line Hydro-jetting and Seepage Pit Treatment

Hydro-jetting of leach lines

If you are experiencing problems with blockages, our high pressure water jetters can help to clean sewer lines, leach field lines etc. One of the possible problems with back up from the leach field is build up of scum on the bottom of the perforated pipe and clogging the holes preventing water from going into the rock and then into the ground. A Hydrojet will unclog a leach line and break up small roots. If the soil in the leach line is oversaturated the only fix is replacement; a new leach line must be installed.

Seepage Pit/Cesspool Treatment

Same as with leach line, seepage pits can clog from build up of scum or waste particle in the perforated pipe and clog it. In cesspool it builds up on the bottom of it. We generally need to locate the seepage pit, gain access to the perforated pipe, pump out as much sludge and clean the best possible way. Then we chemically treat it to break down remaining waste and to help the water get through the holes, into the pipe and in between the rock. If the soil is oversaturated the only fix is to replace with new seepage pit.
